Art Deco Fused Glass w/stand – Rosalind Fitz Patrick

This fused glass plate is built from layers of compatible glass, carefully arranged to create its repeating black and white pattern. The glass is then kiln fired so the layers fuse together into a single piece.

Kiln formed glass is a precise process, relying on controlled heating and cooling. Pieces can be cut, reassembled and fired again, allowing patterns to be built up over several stages before the final form is achieved.
